Wedding | Wedding Day Picture List

Developing a picture list is another important party of wedding planning. When I am photographing a wedding I have a list of shots I know are important to telling your story but I have no idea what pictures are important to you. Creating a picture list ensures that those images that are important to you are captured. 

Below is a very basic wedding day picture list. It is intended to be used as a jumping off point to help you create your wedding day list. 


Getting Ready

  • Bride and bridesmaids getting ready
  • Groom and groomsmen getting ready
  • Rings, bouquets, boutonnieres

Bridesmaids/Groomsmen (candid and formal)

  • Bride with bridesmaids; bride with flower girl; bride with flower girl and bridesmaids
  • Groom with groomsmen; groom with ring bearer; groom with ring bearer and groomsmen
  • Bride with each of her bridesmaids individually
  • Groom with each of his groomsman individually
