Spring Engagement

Engagement session photographed in Riggins, Idaho.

There is something rather exciting about the first engagement session of the year and I couldn't have been happier to share it with Eric and Kendra. Engagement sessions are fun to photograph because you are reminded of the love and excitement that surrounds this stage of life. Every detail from the proposal to the first dance will become a cherished memory and I feel honored to be a part of it.

Eric and Kendra are the type of couple that make you feel instantly at ease and I enjoyed being able to capture the genuine, lighthearted love they share. Eric proposed this spring with a halo set engagement ring. Kendra smiled when she was showing me the ring and pointed out that Eric picked it out 'on his own'. The couple is planning an outdoor wedding for this coming September in Lewiston, Idaho. The Salmon River canyon is wonderful to photograph in because it offers a variety of locations with close proximity. Kendra and Eric decided to meet in Riggins for our session and their only location request was 'pine trees'. We found pine trees, sagebrush and an orchard in bloom all within 10 minutes of each other. The following images are a few favorite from our time together.
